I'm gonna unlock my phone, and then buy a sim card from one of the providers and just get one of the pre-paid plans

San Jose, but San Fran's probably cheaper to fly into

I've seen people post pictures of every meal they had at Google

I heard that they can, not sure if there's a limit

At least a free t-shirt (they asked me for my t-shirt size)

Yes, they asked me what my preference would be

Probably not

It can't hurt your chances (unless you make a *really* bad impression)

No

I'm told flex, but it depends on your manager

Hahaha, yes

Yes, but don't tell anyone

Probably not personally, unless you tent outside their offices

Lots
Like... Do I have to open a US bank account?!
Yes. When I was at Microsoft Research last year, I opened one at Washington Mutual. Free checking. MS also had a deal with a credit union where you'd be automatically approved for a credit card if you show them your badge (it's notoriously difficult to get a credit card coming from Canada b/c you have NO credit rating).
Another thing, you have to get a social security number (SSN). You just have to visit the SSN office, fill out a form, and wait in line.
